Slaven Bilic believes Reece Oxford has everything it takes to become a 'great' player after the young defender marked his 18th birthday by signing a new four-and-a-half-year deal at West Ham.
The teenager has signed a deal contract worth around £20,000-a-week, ending the uncertainty over his future amid interest from Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal.
Oxford is currently out with an ankle injury having featured in just three matches this season, but Hammers manager Bilic is adamant he will be given an opportunity to prove himself.
'He can be great, he has everything in him,' said Bilic ahead of West Ham's home Premier League match against Hull City on Saturday.
