Rangers make enquiry about a loan for West Ham defender Reece Oxford

Rangers have made contact with West Ham in a bid to take defender Reece Oxford on loan until the end of the season.

Sportsmail understands an enquiry was made this week and is being mulled over by West Ham, who see tremendous potential in the 18-year-old but have been unable to give him game time this season.

Slaven Bilic has previously stated his belief that Oxford will go on to become ‘world class’ and it is known that Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal monitored him before he was handed a four-and-a-half year deal on his birthday in December.
