Premier League round-up: Arsenal move into third, Hull boost safety hopes and West Ham see off Crystal Palace

Arsenal moved into third place after beating Swansea on Paul Clement’s debut as a Premier League manager.

Strikes from Olivier Giroud and Alexis Sanchez, as well as own goals from Jack Cork and Kyle Naughton helped the Gunners overcome their bogey side in recent years, in what was a comfortable afternoon at the Liberty Stadium.

The result moves Arsene Wenger’s side above Liverpool on goal difference, while the Swans stay 19th.

Stoke secured a second consecutive league win as they swept aside struggling Sunderland with a first half blitz at the Stadium of Light.
