Furious fans have slammed the National League for charging £45 to watch Sunday's promotion final between Grimsby Town and Solihull Moors amid the cost of living crisis.
Soccer Saturday presenter Jeff Stelling was among those critical of the 'shameful' prices and even the competition's sponsors, Vanarama, stepped in to subsidise tickets for fans of both clubs.
Supporters pointed out that away ticket prices in the Premier League are capped at £30 and tickets for the Wembley Finalissima between Italy and Argentina, two of the world's best international sides, were just £25.
The Mariners Trust, the Grimsby supporters' association, has raised over £20,000 to help their fans get down to West Ham's London Stadium to watch the game.
