Matildas star Michelle Heyman has confirmed her engagement to long-term partner Christine Aldridge.
It caps off a stunning 2024 for the veteran striker, 36, who scored the winner for Australia against Zambia at the Paris Olympics.
Heyman was called into Tony Gustavsson's squad late following an ACL injury to Sam Kerr and took her opportunity in the qualifying matches with both hands, scoring five goals in two games versus Uzbekistan.
Taking to Instagram recently, Heyman shared a photo of herself kissing Aldridge's cheek while showing off her sparkling ring.
