Jamie Carragher believes Declan Rice would thrive should he decide to make the conversion from midfielder to defender.
The West Ham star recieved rave reviews last season with some commanding performances in the middle of the park, as he began to establish himself in Gareth Southgate's England squad, too.
However, this season has proved tougher for the 21-year-old, as West Ham's struggles on the pitch has coincided with his own drop in form.
And Carragher believes there is a fix for Rice to return to the top of his game.
