James Maddison is facing a race against time to be fit for England's World Cup opener after he missed a second day of training.

England medics are managing the Leicester star's workload after he limped off with a knee problem in the Foxes' win over West Ham on Monday.

The 25-year-old is still receiving treatment and doing gym work, with just three days to go before they play Iran.
