Jake Livermore unlikely to be charged by FA for confronting fan over taunt about death of his baby son, claims West Brom boss Alan Pardew

West Bromwich Albion head coach Alan Pardew is confident Jake Livermore will escape an FA charge after confronting a West Ham fan who abused him over the death of his infant son.

Pardew also confirmed the midfielder is available for the FA Cup third round tie at Exeter City on Saturday.

Livermore, aged 28, went into the crowd at the London Stadium to confront a supporter who is alleged to have made comments about Jake junior, who died in 2014.

West Ham have identified the individual following an investigation and are considering banning him, while in talks with West Brom and the FA.
