Aston Villa host West Ham on Wednesday evening in a clash between two of the Premier League's surprise packages who have realistic ambitions of gatecrashing the European spots come May.
The Hammers find themselves in the lofty heights of fifth place, while Villa have just three points less with two games in hand.
Their final-day clash last season saw Villa secure their top-flight status by the skin of their teeth in a game that had been earmarked as a relegation decider for much of the campaign as both sides dwindled.

Fast forward just over six months and it is now a different story, with their records of 10 wins each at this half-way stage already one more than Villa managed in the whole of last season and the same as West Ham’s total.
