Curtis Jones feels he has a point to prove after finally recovering from the 'freak' injury that has plagued his start to the season.
The Liverpool midfielder made his first start of the campaign in Saturday's disappointing defeat to Nottingham Forest, having returned to action for the first time in 10 weeks in the Reds victory over West Ham in midweek.
Jones was struck down in July when he was diagnosed with a stress reaction in his tibia, which other than a brief appearance in Liverpool's Community Shield win, has kept him on the sidelined all season.
