Portuguese midfielder Joao Mario has insisted “Inter are part of my past now” - despite only being on loan at West Ham.
The Italian giants bought Mario for £35m plus £4m in bonuses after his impressive performances at Euro 2016, but he struggled to make an impact at the San Siro.
In January, Mario was shipped out to struggling West Ham on an initial six-month loan deal, with a £35m option to make the move permanent.
And although the Hammers are yet to be fully convinced with the 25-year-old, Mario has all but ruled out a return to Inter in the summer.
