West Ham manager David Moyes hopes the over-indulgent football industry will 'reset' itself after the coronavirus pandemic left multiple clubs facing financial oblivion.
The 56-year-old Scot says the extortionate sums spent on transfers, player wages and agent fees are three areas which may require addressing.
During the lockdown, Moyes has volunteered for his local store in Lytham St Annes by delivering fruit and veg door-to-door. One older lady, who did not recognise the Premier League manager, told Moyes to 'keep the change' after giving him a £20 note for her delivery.
