Glen Johnson has dismissed the idea of Declan Rice leaving West Ham for Manchester United in the summer, even though he considers the midfielder 'the ideal fit' for Old Trafford.

Rice has been a stand-out player in an impressive West Ham side this season and is expected to be pursued by an array of major clubs in the summer transfer window.

Former Hammers defender Johnson believes Rice would be a magnificent signing for United - but thinks there is no chance the 22-year-old would favour a move there.
