Get stuck in lads! Tackling is back in the Premier League as Tottenham, Newcastle, Manchester United, West Ham and Sheffield United become first top-flight teams to resume contact training

Premier League training looked a more familiar sight on Thursday morning as contact was allowed between players after Phase Two of Project Restart was given the green light on Wednesday.

Newcastle were the first team to publish pictures of their first-team stars in contact training, posting a snap of Steve Bruce's squad during one drill, before Manchester United, West Ham, Sheffield United and Tottenham got in on the action later on.

Players returned to group training last week where a widespread testing regime was rolled out across all Premier League clubs but contact within sessions was unanimously backed by the clubs on Wednesday.
