Gary Neville claims Man United are 'trying to manage Harry Maguire OUT of the club' despite Erik ten Hag's rallying call for the defender to 'prove himself'

Gary Neville has claimed that Manchester United are 'trying to manage Harry Maguire out of the club'.

Much uncertainty remains over the centre-back's future at the club after Man United accepted a £30million offer from West Ham to sign him.

Mail Sport earlier this week that the 30-year-old was waiting to make a decision on whether he wanted to leave the club, but also reported today that the move had stalled as the club were waiting to bring in a replacement for him before he could leave.

Maguire started on the bench for Man United during their opening Premier League game against Wolves at Old Trafford on Monday night football, with Erik ten Hag opting to play Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane as his two centre-backs.
