Fulham were able to halt in-form West Ham’s impressive run but dropped more points near the bottom of the table in a 0-0 stalemate at Craven Cottage.
In a quiet game, the main talking point was no-doubt the late red card shown to Tomas Soucek after Mike Dean visited the pitch-side monitors.
With Scott Parker’s men in danger of being cut adrift with the gap from danger stretching to nine points before kick-off, they played on the front foot but were unable to find a breakthrough, with Rubenm Loftus-Cheek, Ademola Lookman and Aleksander Mitrovic going close.
