Former West Ham manager Slaven Bilic has turned down an approach from West Brom to speak to them about the vacant manager's job at The Hawthorns.
Albion's Chinese owner Guochuan Lai was interested in talking to 49-year-old Bilic as he looks to appoint a successor to Tony Pulis who was sacked on Monday.
But the Croatian, currently spending time with his family after leaving West Ham at the beginning of the month, has indicated to The Baggies it is too early for him to return to football and that he'd ideally like a proper break until the New Year.
