Former Newcastle manager Alan Pardew has finally reached the end of his eight-year deal with the Magpies.
The 58-year-old was far from popular during his time at St James' Park and many supporters often called for his sacking - as a website called sackpardew.com quickly ramped up support.
But the former West Ham boss was rewarded for guiding the Magpies to a fifth-placed finish in the 2011-12 campaign and swiftly handed the lengthy new deal - with his backroom staff also offered the same terms.

He initially signed a five-and-a-half year deal when he succeeded Chris Hughton in 2010 but his tenure eventually descended into chaos with supporters unfurling banners at the stadium crying out for his dismissal.
