Dimitri Payet feels no need to 'justify' his behaviour to West Ham as £25m man is unveiled at Marseille as it emerges Hammers made him return £500k salary earned during strike

Dimitri Payet has claimed he has no need to 'justify' his behaviour in his final days at West Ham and declared himself 'delighted' to return home to Marseille.

Payet did praise West Ham supporters and say he has 'special memories' of his first season playing for the club.

West Ham were left furious when Payet refused to play for the club in order to force a move to back to the French club.
