Declan Rice scores from the spot after dispute with Jesse Lingard over who should take the penalty in West Ham win before joking with the on-loan star after the game 'he knew he had to give me the pen'

Declan Rice joked with Jesse Lingard following their dispute over who should take a penalty during West Ham's 3-0 victory over Sheffield United.

Lingard, who has made a great start since joining the Hammers on loan from Manchester United, won the penalty after a rash challenge from Chris Basham.

After scoring two goals against Aston Villa, the 28-year-old was determined to take the spot-kick but Rice was the designated penalty taker.
