David Moyes is desperate to bring players to West Ham who can play two games a week without getting injured.
Moyes is short of forwards for Saturday's FA Cup fourth-round tie at League One leaders Wigan, with Marko Arnautovic, Manuel Lanzini, Andy Carroll, Michail Antonio and Diafra Sakho all out.
His concerns should be eased by Thursday’s loan signing of Joao Mario from Inter Milan.
West Ham have paid £1million to take the attacking midfielder until the rest of the season, with a view to a £26m transfer in the summer.
