Cardiff City have stepped up their chase for Wigan Athletic's in-demand striker Kieffer Moore.
The play-off contenders are ready to match the £2.1million offers made by QPR and Millwall in a bid to lure the Wales international to the capital.
Manager Neil Harris wanted Moore in January and the 27-year-old is keen on the move to help crisis club Wigan who confirmed the departure of teenage midfielder Alfie Devine to Tottenham on Tuesday for £300,000.
QPR may switch attention to signing Jordan Hugill from West Ham on a permanent deal after his successful loan.
