West Ham's new signing James Ward-Prowse scored his first goal for the club to help the Irons defeat Brighton 3-1 at the Amex Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Roberto De Zerbi's side were frustrated by their opponents, who defended resolutely and were clinical on the counter attack to secure a hard-fought three points away from home today.
Ward-Prowse would open the scoring after 19 minutes netting the 50th Premier League goal of his career, which was orchestrated by Michail Antonio, who broke into the Seagull's penalty area, laying off a short pass to the England midfielder who arrived at the six-yard box.
