BREAKING NEWSWest Ham working on contingency plans if top target Graham Potter rejects role - with Hammers holding interest in four bosses

West Ham have actively worked on contingency plans should No 1 target Graham Potter turn down the opportunity to become the club’s new head coach.

Potter has held talks with owner David Sullivan over replacing current boss Julen Lopetegui, who took training on Tuesday despite the club actively working towards appointing his successor, and there remained hope on Tuesday that a deal could be agreed.

But former Chelsea boss Potter, as Tuesday evening, had yet to give West Ham the green light to his appointment.

Intriguingly, Everton, who are deciding whether to sack Sean Dyche, are believed to hold a level of interest in Potter.
