Boca Juniors star Carlos Tevez plays down big money move to China

Former Manchester City and Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez has played down talk of a move to China and hinted he could retire.

Shanghai Shenhua, who are coached by former Sunderland boss Gus Poyet, want to sign the Boca Juniors star and are reportedly ready to pay him around £600,000-a-week.

However, the 32-year-old is reluctant to move to China for a bumper pay day and has instead revealed he may hang up his boots next year.

"I've got too much of a muddle in my head to think if in February or March I'm going off to play in China," Tevez told Spanish newspaper Ole.
