It's not every day a former Premier League striker turns up at your weekly 7-a-side game and scores an absolute beauty. But that is exactly what Bobby Zamora did on Thursday night.
The 40-year-old, who played for Brighton, West Ham and Fulham among other teams during his 17-year professional career, was turning out at a local 7-a-side pitch believed to be in Colchester.
An onlooker was recording the action when Zamora, in a West Ham shirt, glided past a defender, brushed off the tackle and then smashed the ball back across goal into the far corner.
