It says a lot about the age of social media that stadiums and football clubs can end up in pitched battles online.
But that is what happened on Wednesday when the London Stadium decided to take to their Twitter account and brag about the size of the screen installed at the site of the 2012 Olympics.
They ended up attracting the ire of Bayern Munich's notoriously banter-friendly American outpost.
Showing off on the social media website, @LondonStadium wrote: 'We're not precious, but our screen is four times the size of the Allianz Arena's.
