Arsenal are reportedly preparing a summer move for West Ham centre-back Issa Diop as they bid to solve their defensive woes.
The Gunners are blessed with attacking talent but struggled defensively for a number of years, an issue Mikel Arteta is keen to resolve this summer.
The Spaniard, who replaced Unai Emery in December, is ready to launch a bid for Diop, who has impressed since joining the club for £22.5m from Toulouse in 2018.
According to the Mirror, Arsenal will test the Hammers' resolve despite the club firmly rebuffing Manchester United's interest in Diop last season.
