Arsenal booked their place in the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup with a 1-0 win over West Ham at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday.

Danny Welbeck scored the only goal of the game as he fired home from close range just three minutes before half-time.

Empty seats at the Emirates once again

It may have been a cup quarter-final and a London derby but there were swathes of empty seats at the Emirates Stadium. Large sections of the upper tier were empty, with around 45,000 inside the 60,000 capacity stadium — and 7,000 of those were West Ham fans.
