Andy Carroll hopes to put himself back in contention to play a part in West Ham's relegation fight this week.
The 29-year-old suffered a hairline fracture of his ankle in December which required surgery and cost Carroll a potential move to Chelsea.
However, he has worked his way back to fitness and is primed to rejoin first team training this week ahead of Monday's crucial clash with Stoke City.

Manager David Moyes has utilised the pace of Marko Arnautovic to guide West Ham to 14th in the table six points above the relegation zone.
