West Ham United's £20.5 million signing of Andre Ayew from Swansea City on Monday evening continued the summer reorganisation of their forward line. Diafra Sakho's transfer to West Brom collapsed last week after a failed medical, while Enner Valencia is now linked with a move to the Hawthorns. Change is occurring at the Hammers in more ways than their move to the London Stadium.
One constant, though, will be Andy Carroll. During the stadium's grand opening against Juventus on Sunday (a 3-2 defeat), the striker reminded why, on his day, he can be of one the most effective in football as he scored twice.
