West Brom will abandon their attempts to sign Charlie Taylor if they fail to reach a deal with Leeds, according to Tony Pulis.
The Baggies boss does not want to take the risk of going to a tribunal for the 23-year-old left-back, who is out of contract at Elland Road this summer.
Taylor can move on a free transfer but, because he is under the age of 24, any club who signs him will have to pay Leeds a compensation fee related to his development. Taylor has been with Leeds since the age of nine.
