West Brom will be making a mistake if they appoint Alan Pardew as their new manager on a long contract.
That's the view of Micky Quinn, with the former top-flight marksman and talkSPORT presenter insisting Pardew would only be a short-term fix for the Premier League strugglers.
The former Charlton, Crystal Palace, Newcastle and West Ham boss is the early favourite to succeed Tony Pulis, who was sacked by the Baggies on Monday.
But Quinn, speaking on the Sports Breakfast, said: “He has an impact straight away and then after a certain amount time he goes on long losing runs.
