West Bromwich Albion are due for crunch talks over summer planning next week when a member of the Chinese hierarchy flies over to discuss manager targets with chief executive Mark Jenkins.
Li Piyue is scheduled to travel from the Far East to England early next week to get a better understanding of the club's predicament and options for a reboot in the Championship.
Jenkins has been reporting back to owner Guochuan Lai but his trusted lieutenant Piyue wants to get a direct look at a squad that is expected to undergo a major overhaul once the campaign is over, as well as establish a profile for the next boss.
