West Brom have been fined £30,000 by the Football Association following crowd trouble at the Hawthorns which saw their FA Cup defeat to rivals Wolves suspended by 38 minutes in January.

Fights began in the corner of the West Stand and Birmingham Road end of the ground in the 78th minute of the fourth-round tie, while missiles were thrown elsewhere and fans spilled on to the pitch.

West Brom's managing director Mark Miles said the club accepted the decision and added: "West Midlands Police is also continuing its own criminal investigations into individual fan behaviour".
