West Bromwich Albion are close to agreement with Carlos Corberan to become their next manager.
The 39-year old left Huddersfield Town at the end of last season after taking them to the Championship play-off final and then had an ill fated spell with Olympiacos.
However, he has emerged as Albion's favoured candidate after two rounds of talks. A number of contenders have been interviewed in the process to replace Steve Bruce who was sacked earlier this month while Albion's U21s coach Richard Beale has been in caretaker charge.
Former Chelsea assistant Jody Morris was also interviewed but Corberan is expected to be confirmed this week.
