West Brom 2-2 Newcastle: Jonny Evans scores late own goal after Ciaran Clark nets to ensure Magpies secure unlikely draw from two goals behind

West Brom were held to an enthralling 2-2 draw with Newcastle on Tuesday night in the Premier League.

Hal Robson-Kanu opened the scoring for the Baggies on the stroke of half time with a close range header before Sam Field doubled their lead on 56 minutes.

Ciaran Clark pulled a goal back for Rafa Benitez's Newcastle side just two minutes later to ensure a nervy ending and with seven minutes of normal time left, Jonny Evans deflected the ball into his own net.
