Watford have confirmed former Barnsley and West Bromwich boss Valerien Ismael as their new manager — just days after Chris Wilder's deal at the club ended.
Ismael is the Hornets' 19th manager in the last decade, with none of the last five lasting longer than 25 matches.
The Frenchman, 47, had spells in Germany, Greece and Austria before a successful tenure in south Yorkshire saw him lead Barnsley to a shock Championship play-off place in 2021.
He joined West Brom but lasted just 31 games, before just 19 matches at Besiktas.
