Troy Deeney has left Watford after 11 years and will join Championship club Birmingham City on a free transfer.
The final details of the 33-year-old's severance deal from Watford are being finalised and a medical is being scheduled with his new club.
Deeney, who saw a proposed move to West Brom fall through in January, has been at Vicarage Road since 2010 and has scored 140 goals in 419 appearances, but the club announced on Thursday that they were working to find an amicable solution to allow him to play regular football elsewhere.
