Newly-promoted Huddersfield Town and West Brom are both keen on bringing centre-half Andrea Ranocchia back to the Premier League.
The Inter Milan defender spent the second half of last season on loan at Hull City and although he couldn't help the Tigers avoid relegation, he impressed during his brief spell in England.
Ranocchia, 29, has admirers back in Serie A with Genoa also keeping track, but the defender is thought to be keen to continue his adventure abroad and he has interest from the Premier League.
According to Sky Italia, Huddersfield and West Brom hold an interest in the Italy international and are hopeful of luring him back to England in time for next season.
