Steve Clarke says he is determined to prove he is cut out for management after being appointed as Kilmarnock's new boss.
The former Chelsea captain had a successful stint as Jose Mourinho's assistant at Stamford Bridge, helping the Blues win the Premier League in both 2005 and 2006.
But since leaving London, things have not gone so smoothly and the 54-year-old's two previous attempts at being a boss in his own right, at West Brom and then Reading, both ended with him being sacked inside 18 months.

Now he is looking to put that right after deciding to return to work in Scotland for the first time since he left St Mirren back in 1987.
