It was very much a game of two halves for Tony Pulis' West Brom side as they secured a third-consecutive home win with a 3-1 victory over Swansea. West Brom were clearly still feeling the effects of their Herculean defensive effort in the 1-0 defeat to Chelsea in the first half of the game as Swansea dominated possession and territory. Whatever Pulis uttered at half-time clearly worked as West Brom got their just rewards for a dominant second-half performance as Salomon Rondon grabbed a hat trick.
Positives
It was the most clinical evening in a West Brom shirt by some margin for their club-record signing, with Rondon scoring three fantastic headers after already wasting a couple of chances with the ball at his feet in the few bright points of West Brom's first-half display.
