Peter Odemwingie is poised to sign for League One Bolton Wanderers on a short term contract.
The 35-year-old former Stoke City winger is a free agent and had been training with Wolves in the summer.
He held talks with Bolton manager Phil Parkinson on Wednesday and underwent medical tests on Thursday night.
He is ready to sign until January with the option to extend until the end of the season.
Odemwingie has had a colourful career, boasting 38 Premier League goals, playing at two World Cup finals.
