Karlan Grant's last-gasp goal gave West Bromwich Albion a dramatic victory over Blackpool and kept their slim play-off hopes alive.
The veteran striker had put Albion ahead three minutes before the interval with his third goal in six matches.
Carroll headed Semi Ajayi's diagonal ball out to Adam Reach on the left and then fired home left-footed after collecting Reach's cross.
Blackpool equalised early in the second half when the hosts failed to deal with a free-kick and Marvin Ekpiteta hooked the ball in from near the edge of the six-yard box.
The Tangerines, who have now lost on six consecutive visits to The Hawthorns, were on top for much of the second half and will feel unfortunate to end up without at least a point.
