West Brom target Jeff Schlupp may have to force a move away from Leicester as the clubs have reached a deadlock.
The wide-man wants to speak to the Baggies but the champions are holding firm and have rejected Albion's latest offer of £12 million.
Albion are not giving up the chase but their hopes of signing Schlupp have diminished since last week. Any fee and wages are not an issue for the Baggies who will have to break their transfer record to sign him.
Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri said this week he wants Schlupp to stay despite the 23-year-old's desire to play more after he made just 14 starts in the Premier League last season.
