Clubs across the football league will provide extra coach travel to ensure that supporters can follow their teams on the opening weekend of the season despite a 24-hour rail strike.
Train drivers at eight rail companies will strike on July 30 — when there are 33 fixtures across the Championship, League One and League Two — in a dispute over pay.
Journeys across the country are likely to be affected. When contacted by Sportsmail many clubs — including Queens Park Rangers, West Brom, Bristol City, Bolton, MK Dons and Peterborough United — vowed to supply transport if required.
