The FA will take no further action against Fernandinho after deciding the Manchester City midfielder accidentally trod on West Brom's Grzegorz Krychowiak on Wednesday night.
The incident happened after Fernandinho fouled the Poland international in City's 3-0 win at the Etihad and then planted a foot on Krychowiak's thigh.
The West Brom player was forced to go off shortly afterwards but referee Bobby Madley and his assistants have confirmed to the FA that they saw the incident and believe that Fernandinho's actions were not intentional.

Speaking about it after the game, Albion boss Alan Pardew said: 'I'm not sure if the referee saw it.
