DARREN Moore has bagged his ticket for next week’s Sandwell Academy show when the story of Albion’s ‘Three Degrees’ era will be given a new twist by today’s generation.
‘1978: The Ultimate Goal’ will premiere at the Academy next week when the school’s performing arts group will present their view of the year which saw Cyrille Regis, Laurie Cunningham and Brendon Batson become symbols of the changing face of football and beyond.
Moore was one of the young black footballers of that time who took inspiration from this iconic Albion team and will be in the front row for Wednesday’s first night.
