Cyrille Regis Dies at Age 59 After Heart Attack

Former West Bromwich Albion and Coventry City striker Cyrille Regis has died after suffering a heart attack on Sunday. He was 59.

According to Jacob Murtagh in the Mirror, the five-time England international died Sunday night, with the news announced via the WBA Former Players Twitter account:

Regis spent most of his club career in two long spells with the Baggies and Coventry, but he also spent time at Aston Villa, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Wycombe Wanderers and Chester City before his retirement in 1996.
