Coventry 1-2 West Brom: Baggies move within six points of automatic promotion spot after ending four-game winless run... as they clinch first away victory since end of September

West Bromwich Albion ended a run of four games without a win as they beat Coventry 2-0 on Saturday afternoon to move within six points of the automatic promotion places.

A first half goal from Karlan Grant and and an own goal from Kyle McFadzean secured three points at Coventry Building Society Arena as the Baggies registered their first away win since the end of September and cut the gap to second-placed Bournemouth by two points.

McFadzean scored at the right end of the pitch seven minutes from time but it wasn't enough to prevent a defeat for Coventry, whose winless run stretched to four games.
